A bit of volume today off the back of a BOE rate decision. Took a trade on Cable at around 6pm, sold at 1.6256.

Update; that trade came good around 7.20am Friday morning, picture below.

High volume up bar followed by no demand on the hourly.

Trade 2 - GBP/USD (Cable) - Sold @ 1.6256 - Closed @ 1.6208 = +48

There was a few announcements today, more importantly the Federal Open Market Rate Decision in the states. When this announcement was made at 18:15 the market whipsawed hundreds of pips. Was really interesting to watch but i couldn't see any viable trade during or after this was happening.

No trades for today either. Couple of announcements tomorrow as well, so hopefully this'll give us a set up.

A bit sideways today, the main chart that interested me was EUR/GBP (Chunnel) but after the initial high volume up bar not a lot happened. I reckon it'll drop off slowly over night. I could be in a trade as there were a few no demands but I decided to stay out as it couldn't seem to make it's mind up!

Also, last night's trade ended up moving about 180 pips or so from the point that I got in. A massive move! Makes me think about moving stops and getting as much from it as possible. Nonetheless, I made my 3% so i'm happy with the trade :)

Quiet enough day until some volume came in on Swissy between 3 and 4. Took a trade at 16:40 which is outlined below;

Update 8:35am Tuesday;

Trade 1 - USD/CHF (Swissy) - Sold @ 0.9937 - Closed @ 0.9898 = +39

The trade had been bouncing off my target line since about 5am but pushed through it as I was getting up at around 8am. Very happy with this trade, at most I was 5 pips in the hole. In profit for the majority of the trade until reaching the target.

Wasn't a great deal happening on the charts today, a few things early on in the day, around 8am and 9am but I didn't get up in time to catch them! Off the top of my head I think it was that Swissy was probably one of the best ones to trade with an upthrust on the hourly chart around that time.

Another even week, but still, learning all the time, watching loads of TG videos. Very happy so far. On to next week!
